From our homeport in Maine's "Town That Went To Sea," Thomaston Place Auction Galleries brings you the finest in nautical art and objects, from fine ship portraits to telescopes, sextants, and other antique navigational instruments, from original logbooks to intricate works of scrimshaw. Our maritime selection often features pieces directly associated with our New England heritage, including whaling equipment and memorabilia, tools made and used by sailors in their work, objects named to historic ships and captains, and detailed models of sailing vessels. Nautical items are a fixture in all our feature auctions.
