The romance of the printed page, and the art of the binder's craft live on at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries where our in-house experts are proud to help preserve rare books, pamphlets, letters, posters, maps, broadsides, and other historic paper for future generations, featuring pieces from the dawn of movable type to the present day. We present historic Bibles and other religious works, important historical, geographical, and scientific texts, significant editions of works of literature, personal and business journals, marine logbooks, rare newspapers and magazines both bound and loose, antique and collectible maps, Civil War letters, and other paper items capturing the first draft of history.
