Artwork by Andrew Wyeth, Charles Fritz, Jay Connaway and Edward Fitzgerald plus six bronze sculptures by Judd Hartman kick-off Day Two. There is a magnificent selection of estate and contemporary jewelry including a 5.4 carat diamond ring, an Art Deco period diamond and platinum bracelet appraised at $300,000, two Patek Philippe watches, and a necklace containing 26 emeralds and 373 diamonds. Extremely important Ephemera include a rare Civil War Logbook, a Sam Houston Land Deed, an 1853 handwritten Slave Manuscript, and Gray’s Texas Survey of 1866. There are seven Sterling flatware services, tea sets, trays, and serving pieces, too many to list. Also being offered is a 14 lot collection of Brother Thomas Bezanson pottery, Art Glass by Daum Nancy, 19th c. to modern furniture, a second day of marine equipment, a 1910 Gibson Style O Guitar, and a selection of toys, including the first Mickey Mouse Doll, circa 1929.
